Alix Waterhouse


Alix Waterhouse is a London based fashion stylist, brand adviser and blogger, with 11 years experience styling advertising campaigns, look book, editorial, celebrity and music video.

Alix advises brands on digital presence, branding, creative content and e commerce.

She is the UK coordinator for Fashion Revolution and writes the blog Slow Made, which focuses on sustainable and sweatshop free clothing. She contributes to Magnifeco magazine and helps coordinate Eco Sessions. She is currently researching the latest book by Safia Minney MBE - Slave to Fashion.

Alix supports slow fashion brands and designers who manufacture in the UK. She is the founder of Yoga and Pilates platform www.mymethod.co.uk 


 

 

Claire Bates


Claire is currently a sustainable buying consultant to vintage powerhouse Beyond Retro. She is the London ambassador for the global event series EcoSessions and works to inform consumers through contributions to the ethical fashion blogs Slow Made and Magnifeco.

Claire advises retail and brand strategy with a focus on partnerships, product development, fabrics and materials, production, supply chain and distribution. She has over 5 years experience in buying and merchandising for both department stores and fast-fashion. 

She has a strong awareness of the harmful nature of the industry and a deep passion for sustainability, she takes a holistic approach to business.
